Join us for an incredible weekend of events benefiting Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge’s new women’s treatment facility opening in Rochester this fall. Currently, there are very few options in Rochester for women who are struggling with drug and alcohol addiction to receive in-patient care. When the 74-bed facility opens in the fall it will more than triple the amount of beds available to women in Rochester, filling a growing need. Authorities in Rochester reported in 2016 a 300 percent increase in heroin seizure from Rochester streets compared to 2014. Drug-related court cases in Olmsted County this year are up 60 percent, including vehicle thefts nearly quadrupling this fall due to what authorities are calling “the meth crowd.” We are so excited to partner with Teen Challenge to bring awareness to this issue in our community, and offer hope and healing for women struggling with addiction
