Compelled by the love of Christ and The Great Commission, we view missions as an important part of our church’s DNA. We operate within two main areas when it comes to involvement in missions:
At Rochester Assembly, we have a goal to support missions both locally and overseas. We are currently committed to supporting over eighty missionaries and missions organizations by the generous, obedient, and consistent giving of our church family. We have a vision to continue expanding our reach and efforts within our city and throughout our world. Thank you for your support and desire to see Jesus proclaimed all around the world. If you would like to become more involved in this area, please contact Pastor Jorden Johnson at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Short-Term Missions and Discipleship Experience:
Short-term missions experiences make a lasting impact upon individuals as well as our corporate church body. It’s our goal to provide annual opportunities for students, parents, singles, and the elderly to play a critical role in missions through trips and projects. Beyond giving financially, mission trips also provide a great opportunity for people to connect with a “real life” mission work. Something happens when you get out of your own cultural context and see what life is like elsewhere. It changes you, it challenges you, and it calls you to action. We are so excited as a church to be starting up this new team that will set out not only to bless our world in the name of Jesus Christ, but also to bless our city.
