We are so excited about your desire to join a Serve Team! From hospitality, to children, youth, and so much more, there are a variety of areas you can be involved in. Without the help of Serve Teams we could not provide a seamless opportunity for people to experience the move of God at Rochester Assembly each and every week.
We are looking forward to helping you find a place for you to use your God- given gifts and talents. Part of helping you find the right place to serve is submitting a basic background check. Every serve team member is required to submit a background check prior to serving. By doing this we hope to provide a safe environment for Serve Teams, members, and attenders of Rochester Assembly.
The results of your background check will be reviewed solely by the Executive Pastor. Should something of a questionable nature appear on your background check, a meeting will be requested. As followers of Christ we believe in second chances and that people can be made new in Christ. For that reason, the nature of your background check does not automatically disqualify you from serving, so don’t let this standard precaution discourage you.
